I arrived home from teaching this afternoon
to discover an envelope in the mailbox
hand addressed to me
from Mr. R.
Enclosed was a comic strip
from Sunday's paper.
(I've been so busy I haven't
read the paper for over a week.)
Of course he also included
a funny note.
Love, coupled with humor,
is what life is all about.
A delightful way to end this month of amour.
